Review by hotel critic
During our recent family vacation at the Rock, we found it to be an inviting retreat in the heart of the jungle-perfect for those seeking adventure while enjoying nature's beauty. On arrival, the property was clean, and we appreciated that the staff maintained this standard throughout our stay. One of the standout highlights for our family was the playful monkeys; watching them frolic in the trees and play in the mud added a touch of joy to our mornings. The hotel offered great family-friendly activities, from kayaking to guided treks through the stunning Khao Sok National Park, making it easy to bond as we explored together. We stayed in a spacious twin treehouse with a comfortable bed, and while the tin roof made for a noisy experience during rain, the overall ambience was still enjoyable. The inclusive breakfast provided a decent variety and kept everyone satisfied before a day of exploration. The staff were friendly and offered good communication, which made organizing activities easier. While we faced some connectivity issues with waitstaff, they were always cheerful and eager to assist. The transportation service to town was also a thoughtful gesture. The Rock proved to be a delightful family getaway.
